NOTE : Make sure the drivers door is open and unlocked and Key is out of the ignition.

 

1.    INSERT and REMOVE the key from the ignition key cylinder twice within 5 seconds.

 

2.    CLOSE and OPEN the drivers door twice within 40 seconds.

 

3.    INSERT the key into the ignition and remove it, do not turn.

 

4.    CLOSE and OPEN the drivers door twice within 40 seconds.

 

5.    INSERT the key into the ignition.

 

6.    CLOSE the door.

 

7.    Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to ON and back to LOCK at about 1 second intervals

to select the desired mode :

 

NOTE : 1 time for ADD.

NOTE : 2 times for REWRITE.

NOTE : 3 times for CONFIRMATION.

NOTE : 5 times for PROHIBITION.

 

8.  Remove the key from the ignition.

 

NOTE : To confirm your selection of all modes except CONFIRMATION, the power locks

will now cycle LOCK to UNLOCK a number of times corresponding the mode selected.

 

NOTE : If CONFIRMATION mode has been selected, the power door locks will now cycle

in 2 seconds intervals) a number of times corresponding to the number of transmitters currently registered.

 

Opening the door will complete the procedure.

 

NOTE : If PROHIBITION mode has been selected, opening the door will complete the procedure.

 

11. For ADD or REWRITE modes, within 20 seconds of Door Lock confirmation proceed as follows :

 

(a) Press both transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously between 1 and 1.5 seconds and release.

 

(b) Within 3 seconds of step (a), press the transmitter LOCK button for more than 1 second and release.

 

(c) If the transmitter has been successfully programmed, the power locks will cycle LOCK to UNLOCK

once at this time. If there are problems with the procedure up to this point, the locks

will cycle twice, in which case you must go back and repeat the above steps (a) and (b).

 

(d) If multiple transmitters are to be programmed, repeat the above steps (a) to (c).

 

12. Open the drivers door to complete the procedure.

DEALER FITTED REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY PROGRAMMING

 

NOTE : Maximum of 4 remote transmitters can be programmed.

 

NOTE : When a new remote transmitter it will be programmed in normal mode, additional options for this system

can be setup by referring to the main operating manual of this system.

 

1.    Open the drivers door and remove the ignition key.

 

2.    The programming steps must be performed within 40 seconds.

 

3.    Insert the key into the ignition 2 times.

 

4.    Close then open the drivers door 2 times.

 

5.    Insert the key into the ignition 1 time.

 

6.    Close then open the drivers door 2 times.

 

7.    Insert the key into the ignition and leave it in.

 

8.    Close the drivers door.

 

9.    Turn the ignition key from LOCK to ON, and then back to LOCK position.

 

10. Remove the key.

 

11. The tail/rear lights will flash once, the sounder will sound once and the doors will LOCK and UNLOCK.

 

12. Press the LOCK and UNLOCK button once together on the remote transmitter to be programmed.

 

13. Press the LOCK button on the remote transmitter.

 

14. The tail/rear lights will flash once, the sounder will sound once and the doors will LOCK and UNLOCK.

 

15. Repeat steps 12 to 14 for any additional remote transmitters.

 

16. Open the drivers door.

 

TO ERASE AND PROGRAM EXISTING REMOTE TRANSMIITERS

 

1.    Open the drivers door and remove the ignition key.

 

2.    The programming steps must be performed within 40 seconds.

 

3.    Insert the key into the ignition 2 times.

 

4.    Close then open the drivers door 2 times.

 

5.    Insert the key into the ignition 1 time.

 

6.    Close then open the drivers door 2 times.

 

7.    Insert the key into the ignition and leave it in.

 

8.    Close the drivers door.

 

9.    Turn the ignition key from LOCK to ON, and then back to LOCK position 2 times.

 

10.  REMOVE the key.

 

11.  The tail/rear lights will flash once, the sounder will sound once and the doors will LOCK and UNLOCK.

 

12.  PRESS the LOCK and UNLOCK button once together on the remote transmitter to be programmed.

 

13.  PRESS the LOCK button on the remote transmitter.

 

14.  The tail/rear lights will flash once, the sounder will sound once and the doors will LOCK and UNLOCK.

 

15.  Repeat steps 12 to 14 for any additional remote transmitters.

 

16.  OPEN the drivers door.

 

17.  LOCK and UNLOCK the doors using the drivers door LOCK button 5 times.

 

18.  Insert key into ignition and turn to the ON position 2 times, then remove the key.

 

19.  LOCKS should cycle from LOCK to UNLOCK to confirm programming.

 

20.  Press the LOCK and UNLOCK button together on the remote transmitter for 1 second.

 

21. The LOCKS should cycle LOCK to UNLOCK to confirm programming.
