NOTE :  Make sure the drivers door OPEN and UNLOCKED, and the key is out of the ignition.

 

1.    Insert the key into the ignition and remove it, do not turn.

 

2.    LOCK and UNLOCK 5 times using the door control switch within 40 seconds.

 

3.    CLOSE the drivers door and OPEN it.

 

4.    LOCK and UNLOCK 5 times using the door control switch within 40 seconds again.

 

5.    Insert the key into the ignition.

 

6.    Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to ON and back to LOCK at about 1 second intervals

to select the desired mode :

 

NOTE :  1 time for ADD.

NOTE  : 2 times for REWRITE.

NOTE :  3 times for CONFIRMATION.

NOTE :  5 times for PROHIBITION.

 

7.    Remove the key from the ignition.

 

8.    To confirm your selection of all modes except CONFIRMATION, the power locks

will now cycle LOCK to UNLOCK a number of times corresponding to your key cycles

in step 6.

 

NOTE : If CONFIRMATION mode has been selected, the power door locks will now cycle

(in 2 seconds intervals) a number of times corresponding to the number of transmitters currently

registered.

 

NOTE : Closing the door will complete the procedure.

 

NOTE : If PROHIBITION mode has been selected, closing the door will complete the

procedure.

 

9. For ADD or REWRITE modes, within 20 seconds of Door Lock confirmation:

 

(a) Press the transmitter LOCK button for more than 1 second and release.

(b) If the door control receiver has received the signal from the transmitter, the power locks will

cycle LOCK to UNLOCK once at this time. If there is no response, return to step 1.

(c) Close the driverÕs door and open it.

(d) Press the transmitter LOCK button for more than 1 second and release again.

(e) If the transmitter has been successfully programmed, the power locks will cycle LOCK to UNLOCK.

once at this time. If there are problems with the procedure used up to this point, the locks

will cycle twice, in which case you must go back and repeat the above steps (a) to (d).

(f) If multiple transmitters are to be programmed, repeat the above steps (a) to (e).

 

10. Close the drivers door to complete the procedure.

RS3000 (VIP)

 

DEALER FITTED REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY PROGRAMMING

 

NOTE : Maximum of 8 remote transmitters can be programmed.

 

NOTE : From 1998 MY the remote transmitters were updated from BLACK to GREY. The new GREY remote transmitters will not work on the older vehicles.

 

ADD REMOTE TRANSMITTER

 

1.    Locate the RS3000 ECU.

 

The ECU locations are as follows :

 

            4runner(1999MY) : Behind panel right hand side of steering wheel, older models under drivers seat.

            Avalon : Under passenger seat.

            Camry (1998/1999MY) Older models located under drivers seat.

            Celica : Under drivers seat.

            Corolla : Under drivers seat.

            RAV4 : Under drivers seat.

            Sienna : Behind panel right hand side of steering wheel.

            Solara : Centre console in storage compartment.

            T100 : Under drivers seat.

            Tacoma : Under drivers seat.

            Tercal : Under drivers seat.

 

2.    Insert ignition key, and turn ON.

3.    PRESS and HOLD the ECU PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds (Located on the side of the ECU)

 

NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will light for 5 seconds.

 

NOTE : Please perform the next step within 5 seconds.

 

4.    PRESS and release either button on the remote transmitter.

 

NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will turn OFF and the sounder will sound once.

 

5.    Turn OFF the ignition, the remote transmitter is now programmed.

 

ERASE ALL REMOTE TRANSMITTERS

 

1.    Insert ignition key, and turn ON.

 

2.    PRESS and HOLD the ECU PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds (Located on the side of the ECU)

 

NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will light for 5 seconds.

 

NOTE : Please perform the next step within 5 seconds.

 

3.    PRESS and HOLD the ECU PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds.

 

NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will flash 3 times, and the sounder will sound 3 times.

 

4.    Turn ignition OFF, all remote transmitters are now erased.
